Bookings – General Terms and Conditions of Sale

  • Deposit required: 30% of the total amount of the stay.
  • The balance is to be paid at the end of the stay.
  • Bookings are considered firm upon receipt of the deposit. The deposit will not be refunded in case of cancellation or early departure. .

Arrival and check-in

  • Arrivals are between 2pm and 7:30pm,
  • Do not hesitate to ask us if you wish to drop off your luggage earlier,
  • Please let us know in case of late arrival.

Checkout

  • Rooms must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure.

How far is the hotel from Annecy?

The hotel is located 8 km from Annecy city centre, about 20 minutes by car depending on traffic conditions, and only 30 minutes by bicycle (cycle track).

How to get to Annecy?

Bus line 60 offers 26 daily return trips from Monday to Saturday and 8 on Sundays and during the holidays. You can also use Menthon taxi service.

How to get to the village of Menthon-Saint-Bernard?

On foot, in 10 minutes, or by bike of course, along various paths, it’s a nice walk.

How is the hotel located in relation to the garden?

The garden surrounds the hotel on 3 sides (S, W and N). The east side is an esplanade and a car park.
On the South side, bathed in sunlight, you can have your breakfast, enjoy the pergola and the flowerbeds…

Is the hotel far from traffic?

Traffic around the hotel is almost non-existent. The road to Annecy, the main traffic road, is 250 m away as the crow flies, invisible and inaudible; the alleyway leading to the hotel is reserved for local residents (a few houses); the Philibert d’Orlye promenade (on the lake side) is entirely car-free…

What are the market days?
  • You can go to the market in Talloires on Thursday, or in Veyrier-du-Lac on Friday.
  • In Annecy-le-Vieux, you will find the Wednesday Market, rue des Pommaries.
  • And in Annecy, those of the boulevard Taine on Saturdays, or the very popular Marché de la Vieille Ville (Old Town’s market), rue Saint-Claire, on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.

Heading towards the Aravis mountains, the mountain markets welcome you from 8:00 am:
All year round:

  • In Thônes (capital of the reblochon!), on Saturday,
  • In La Clusaz, on Monday,
  • In Grand-Bornand, on Wednesday,

And during the summer period (July-August):

  • In Saint-Jean-de-Sixt and in Chinaillon, on Sunday,
  • In Manigod, on Tuesday.
